MY STORY
Throughout high school in Nigeria, I pondered on the question, "What makes me beautiful?" An answer did not come until I started to realize that the society in which I lived in was hugely against women exercising self-confidence, self-love and power against intimidation. Since then, I decided to contribute to making a difference by encouraging women: "Beautiful women love themselves and are self-confident any day". I want to spread this truth to as many women as I can.
EWA BY VEEK
The word 'EWA' meaning 'beauty' originates from the Yoruba language. EWA also stands for Empowering Women in Africa.
This women empowerment initiative grew from a lifelong struggle of witnessing women being shunned for exercising self-confidence, self-love and power against intimidation. I am excited to share thoughts and stories that strengthen and encourage women to be super-women.
